Riani & Co. is the successor of a firm which began in 1947. This firm started as Gurton, Penchansky & Levine located in Jersey City, N.J. several blocks away from the Hudson County Court House.

In 1964, Mr. Ward Riani joined the firm and eventually replaced the retiring Mr. Gurtin. The firm was then named Pechansky, Levine & Riani.

When Mr. Pechansky and Mr. Levine retired; Mr. Riani continued the practice in 1970. Mr. Riani continued the practice until 1991 when it was purchased by Anthony Antinoro and named Riani & Co.

Many clients of the original firm still exist. In 1992 the firm was relocated to Bayonne, N.J. and during the past year moved to larger modern quarters.
